Why my newly added backlink is not checked yet?

There are many reasons for not checking newly added backlinks.

The crawling of any list starts when you add the first link to the list. After the first crawl, the next crawling of the list will start according to the crawling frequency of the list.

So, if you add any other link in the already crawled list it means your newly added link will be crawled on the next crawl of that list.

Eg. Let's say you created a list named "Guest blog" at biweekly crawl frequency on 11 November.

You added the very first link (or multiple links at the first time) in the list "Guest blog" on 12 November.

Now on adding the first link in the list, crawling of the list is started. It means the 1st-time list is crawled on 12 November and the next crawling will happen on 27 November (as per bi-weekly crawl frequency).

So, in that case, if you add new links on 13 November then that newly added links will be crawled (along with previously added links) on 27 November for the first time.

If you add any link (or links) in the deactivated list then it will not crawl. Ethier reactivates the list or creates a new list and again add those links to the newly created list.

If your monthly crawling credit is exhausted then newly added links (and previous links also) will not crawl. In that case, crawling will be restarted after new credits will be added to your account on 1st date of the month. You can buy instant add-on credits if you don't want to wait for credit renewal.
